Accompanied Outings
From time to time, you may have the need to visit your local hospital, doctors surgery, dentist, supermarket or church, you may find that you are unable to go independently or find it rather daunting and would like to be accompanied by one of the care team. Many of our service users enjoy a trip to the garden center or a local lunch club. Our carers can stay with you for the duration of your appointment and ensure that you are safely home. Many service users have stated that they feel understandably reassured when they are accompanied to a very important appointment especially if they would like any information gathered relayed to another family member.
We can also offer a sitting service; this gives carers the opportunity to take a break with peace of mind. This can usually be organised for you by a member of the office team. We would normally require a week’s notice to support you with this task. Please call the office for further information.
